Setting Up Your Own Blog or Website

If you are looking to up the ante a bit and go beyond the GREATNESS of Squidoo, or Weebly or other free sites that allow you to build web pages and get paid, you might think about setting up your own blog or website. A Wordpress blog is great and opens up many windows of opportunity and many people think you'll have more success if you set up a self-hosted Wordpress blog. To do that, or set up your own website, you need web hosting.

Learning what web hosting is can be time consuming or confusing for many people. With technology running at a steady fast pace, there's not alot of need to know information anymore when setting up your own blog or website. Some of the best web hosting plans, like HostGator, offer unlimited space, bandwidth and domain names so that takes the guesswork out of web hosting. However, it's still good info to know, because, well, what knowledge isn't good to know? (ok I know there are some things you probably wish you didn't know, but stay with me on the subject of setting up your own blog or website!)

So, if you're a dork like me, or you really need to know what web hosting is and what it can do for you and your financial outlook, I've created a Squidoo page with all sorts of great info called Explain Web Hosting, Please. Just click the link and go check it out.
